how do you open wine w/cork in it?
i have a bottle of wine, and it has a cork pushed in it. I don't have an opener at home, so how would I go about opening it?

- You need a cork screw. If you don't have one, the best you can do is dig at the cork with a knive or other sharp tool until you push it through the neck of the bottle, then strain out the cork bits out as you pour the wine.
- Push the cork into the wine bottle. Once it is in and you pour a little out it will be no problem.
- my mate sometimes makes use of his phallus which conveniently resembles a cork screw =D
- Just push it in...screwdriver, toothbrush, whatever. Next time you're in the dollar store, buy a corkscrew, worth having and keeps the tiny bit of cork that sometimes break when you are pushing it in/
- Get a Drill and drill a hole into the cork and then pour the wine out thru a coffee filter
- use a cork screw... pushing it in or whatever they are telling you shreds it in tiny pieces and makes it so you cant drink it. you dont want cork bits and pieces floating in your glasses.
- Douchey can't do it for his mate because his isnt long enough. So yes, use a screwdriver if you dont have a corkscrew. "Eat, Drink and be Merry".
- if you have a drill handy you can use it just drill into the cork about 2/3 of the way then pull up the drill....This is a proven redneck way....just make sure you don't drill to the side and hit the glass....You should drill very very slow.......You might have a cork screw around and not know it If you have a swiss army pocket knife or a leather-man type pocket tool.... You can get a cork screw pretty cheap but,if you plan on drinking whine alot get one that is a wing style opener...
- take off one shoe and hit the bottom untill you can take off the cork with your hand :-))
